We are looking for an engineer in software delivery, testing and support, having worked with projects through the different stages of the software lifecycle. Experience of working in the logistic industry would be an advantage. We are looking for our future team member who will support and manage the corporate portfolio of IT business services and IT solutions supporting Panalpina business processes globally.

Responsibilities

Support global IT business services delivery according to business expectations reflected in SLA, focusing on Incident, Service Requests, Problem, Change and Release Management processes

Understand supported business processes, needs and priorities. Experience with Transportation and Logistic industries is an advantage

Work collaboratively with other teams, participate in architecture, design, development and test to ensure proper support once applications are productive

Manage relationships with IT and business stakeholders and global IT teams and 3rd parties

Contribute to IT systems architecture, design and security discussions

Participate in and support the implementation of IT solutions and key components of overall IT architecture and security.

Maintain a Knowledge Base

Qualifications

Higher Computer Science or Information Technology education

Experience in providing IT business services and supporting IT business applications

Very good practical experience in testing of complex systems and business flows, including functional test planning and execution experience

Exposure to test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Quality Centre) and experience I using building automation frameworks would be an advantage

Good knowledge and understanding of Java/J2EE, .NET; knowledge of front-end stack (HTML, CSS, JS, AJAX, JQuery, other client-side frameworks) would be beneficial

Good relational database (Informix DB2, MS SQL, etc.) knowledge

Understanding and experience in development and support of mobile applications for iOS, Windows and Android would be an advantage

Knowledge of IBM WebSphere and Tomcat application server would be a plus

ITIL foundation certification is considered as advantage

Experience in practical Agile Project and Product management would be an advantage as well
