We are looking to hire on a permanent contract (35h / week) a Corporate IT HR Systems Development Manager (SuccessFactors) for our IT Center of Excellence in Lisbon.

In this position you will be responsible for delivering HR systems for the global Panalpina organization based on the needs of the business partners in HR. Develop an HRIS strategy that adresses relevant short term business requirements and long term aspirations that are aligned with the company’s strategic business objectives.


• Manage a high performing team that will collaborate and work together for the betterment of the department

• Lead the continuous improvement efforts of our SuccessFactors® solution to become the single source of truth for all Personnel related information

• Act as the senior subject matter expert, sparring partner and challenger to the global process owner, in all necessary systems aspects to run all major global HR processes in SuccessFactors®

• Be an active member and contributor to the Logistics, HR & Legal IT Products leadership team

• Develop initiatives to harness the potentials of SuccessFactors® with the aim to transform into the platform to serve a Digital HR

• Secure successful delivery of changes in the range from small changes to full projects

• Deliver and improve the solutions that simplify processes in Panalpina.

• Ensure that the global HR systems are adequately and effectively integrated with the overall global/local IT landscape

• Intensive interaction with other IT Department Heads other Product teams, regional IT Departments and the IT Services organization

• Secure proper financial management for the area of responsibility existing of multiple cost centers


• Profound technical knowledge and understanding of the SuccessFactors® solution

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, Business Administration, IT or other relevant subject and 10 years of work experience

• At least 5 years managerial experience in an international environment

• Solid understanding of major HR processes
