We are looking to hire a Corporate Application Owner AF m/f to represent Airfreight and the corresponding workgroup in the myPA2020 (customer interaction platform) project, including close collaboration with peers from other participating products and functions, to develop a cross-product and cross-function solution focused on delivering an industry leading customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and align the expected business outcomes of eQuote, eBook, eTrack application features with all relevant products and stakeholders

• Lead the business requirement definition and functional design of eQuote, eBook, eTrack application features within the scope of Panalpina’s next generation customer systems, reflecting customer requirements, industry standards, and Product’s strategic objectives

• Define and maintain a release strategy for eQuote, eBook, eTrack capabilities, aligned with the project’s overall release plan

• Define migration strategies for customers on legacy integration solutions

• Represent the eQuote, eBook, eTrack applications in business strategy discussions and ensure solution capabilities are aligned with the Air Freight Strategy to deliver expected benefits (incremental revenue, improved Gross Profit margin, automation and efficiency gains)

• Support the development and presentation of business cases, for high-level initiatives, for approval, funding and prioritization of application features

• Responsible for defining use cases and (where applicable) user stories and prioritizing the team backlog while ensuring the conceptual integrity of the eQuote, eBook, eTrack application features

• Plays an instrumental role in preparing, producing and executing system (application) demos for project and other stakeholders

• Works with the Head of Customer Systems (i.e. Business Owner of MYPA2020) to prepare, align and schedule incremental developments of MYPA2020

• Reviews and contributes to the vision, roadmap and content presentations (such as STC, EB or IB meetings) of MYPA2020

• Interact with global business and product development functions and assure requirements specific to Airfreight are captured, translated and developed as part of the project

• Develop sales and training material and usage guidelines as required to support the roll out of the developed tools

• Responsible for the business rollout of the eQuote, eBook, eTrack applications or (incremental) application features

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration/Economics/Logistics; freight forwarding apprenticeship (or working equivalent) is an advantage

• 7-10 years of overall industry experience (minimum)

• 3-5 years of experience in working with system solutions for forwarding and logistics services

• International working experience preferred

• Operational Air Freight systems and industry requirements (additional Ocean Freight knowledge and experience is an advantage)

• Forwarding and Supply Chain Management Systems

• Supply chain visibility applications and corresponding functionality

• Project management methodologies

• IT development projects

• The Supply Chain Management market

• Freight forwarding operations

• Panalpina application architecture and dataflow (preferred)
