Purpose of the position

The purpose of the position is to develop an offshore strategy with the respective product organization, define scope to be offshored to the GBS sites, develop a roll-in plan and ensure transitions are executed in line the plan

Key Tasks

* Explore opportunities and potential of what can be offshored to the Global Business Service Centers in close collaboration with the business partners

* Develop an offshoring strategy for the GBS and the creation of a roadmap to transition the work to the service centers

* Identify the capabilities needed in GBS to execute and deliver on the roadmap

* Ensure delivery of the transition with supporting documentation, producing and validating support material that meets the service transition standards following the GBS migration governance

* Guarantee that the service can managed, operated and supported in accordance with the requirements and constraints specified within the service level agreement

* Responsible for sign off on the transition, deliver on the business case and return on investment/offshoring

* Owner of the service catalogue for all services provided to the product is fully aligned towards the agreed strategic goals

* Provide excellent stakeholder management for business partners in regional context and influence by building value propositions

* Proven stakeholder management experience and exposure to senior leadership

* Experience working in a global business environment, including an understanding of cultural aspects

* Leadership skills, be able to lead, motivate and engage teams – both local and remote

* Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role

* Experience with freight forwarding – preferably ocean freight

* Passionate about driving a customer experience and client centricity

Educational background / Work experience

Relevant degree in either logistics, engineering or business administration
