We are looking to hire a Air Import CSR Agent to serve as a point of contact for the customer, overseas Panalpina offices, as well as DOCP. This will ensure operational excellence, high productivity and customer satisfaction at file level for all import shipments.


* Serve as a liaison between DOCP and Customs clearance regarding all shipment details.

* Job Costing Sheet/Rating (JCS) to DOCP.

* Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by answering all customer inquiries within the same day, including exceptions, rates, other fees and track & trace.

* Further increase customer satisfaction and business share through proactive and regular contact. Establish customer’s communication preference (i.e., phone, e-mail, fax, and visit).

* Communicate with and ensure release of the freight from ocean/air carriers.

* Notify customer / broker of arrival and charges and notify PGA of arrival (if required).

* Arrange transportation of freight to consignee destination.

* Provide accurate job costing forecast.

* Profit/unbilled reports/shipping run

* Other duties as requested


* 2 years in industry (Air Import)

* CIFFA, an asset

* Dangerous Goods Certification, an asset


* Effective listening

* Capable to make informed judgments and to generate practical, timely solutions

* Supports organizational commitment to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 certification

* Perform assigned tasks to support Panalpina meets its objectives and targets regarding quality, health, safety and environment as documented in IMS and follow all requirements as set out in the QHSE policy
