We are looking to hire a Country Air Freight Systems & Processes Manager (f/m/d) Germany preferably based in our office in Frankfurt/Moerfelden or Dusseldorf to the next possible start date. One of our other Panalpina locations in Germany would also be a possibility for this job opening.

Responsibilities

In this position, you lead the System & Processes Team with focus on optimization and always questioning yourself, "How should we organize ourselves to deliver our services and add value for our customers?" Further you establish and enforce standards that drive quality, eliminate rework, and enable the industrialization of our processes. The following tasks describe your job in detail:

• Lead productivity and quality initiatives within our Country or Region through process standardization

• Identify and drive new process implementation to reduce costs and manage risks across the product Air Freight

• Improve operations with the right tools and systems, and enable staff to work more effectively and efficiently

• Identify and analyze business demand and provide business expertise for system developments

• Deliver and lead through business process trainings for all new initiatives as well as review training material

• Analyze and drive centralization of workflows within the organization

• Act as a counterpart for questions and conflicts regarding process change; cooperate with "business partners"

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Economics/Logistics or apprenticeship in freight forwarding with experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Air Freight organization plus 2 years of leadership experience

• Deep experience in business process and project management, process engineering, continuous improvements and change management

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to communicate open and clearly

• Good knowledge of MS Office, SAP and other systems, EDI's are welcome

• Fluent English and German skills (written and spoken) as well as the willingness to travel
