We are looking to hire a Corporate IT End-User Computing, Security Engineer. The primary objectives of this role is to make sure that Panalpina is following and implementing best practice operations and guidelines from a security perspective on all our client end-points worldwide. This includes (but not limited to) operating systems like Windows 7, Windows 10, Terminal Services (for ThinClients), macOS running a wide variety of different applications in a multi-vendor environment. It is also expected that this role will cover our mobility portfolio, mainly running on iOS devices for corporate devices. Please see below list for more details.

This role will be reporting directly to the Corporate End-user Computing Team Leader.

Role purpose and key responsibilities

* Be the main responsible and single point of contact for all security related services and tools on the Client; ensure central oversight

* Manage security suites, services and tools implemented on the clients

* Ensure patch management process is implemented; consistently and timely managed on the clients

* Support definition, implementation and regular update of the client management process, to ensure secure and consistent configuration basis

* Follow up on incidents and alerts related to clients

* Ensure regular reporting and monitoring of events and security status of the clients

* Support identity and access management processes are consistently implemented and followed

* Ensure remediation of the reported vulnerabilities on the clients

* Act as an interface with Regional and other IT functions

* Support creation of the relevant IT management processes (e.g patch mgmt., antivirus mgmt., IAM mgmt., applicable security baselines/guidelines/work instructions, etc)

Background requirements

* Knowledge of current security protection and detection technologies and tools

* Service management experience of min 5 years of cyber security protection tools (on clients, servers)

* Bachelor degree in Computer Science

* ITIL v3 certification

* Experience in IT processes creation

* Deep technical configuration knowledge of Windows OS, Mac OS, browsers, other tools related to Clients

* Knowledge in Citrix technology is a plus

* Administrative, project management skills

* Communication skills

* Good team player

* Independent and proactive

Languages

· Excellent English (beneficial spoken & written) is a must
