We are looking to hire a Customer Service Agent - Air Export to serve as a point of contact for the customer, process documents by using the company’s proprietary forwarding application, ensuring operational excellence, high productivity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee shipment files on a daily basis - Receive and validate customer order - Reserve file number and process the file - Arrange for pick-up/transfer of cargo through the GT Team - Answer all customer inquires in accordance with the Customer Service Policy standards - Issue transport documents in accordance with latest IATA and internal rules - Further increase customer satisfaction and business share through proactive and regular contact. Establish customer communication preference, i.e., phone, e-mail, fax, visit - Distribute documents and make copies in accordance with consignee’s, PA’s and/or origin country requirements - Ensure that file contains all necessary document copies in proper sequence - Update Track and Trace application - Ensure that payable and receivable documents are completed accurately and forwarded on time - Ensure proper completion of all accounting procedures and data entry (Job costing and Shipping Run Closing) - Strictly respect Code of Conduct and Compliance requirements of the company - Other duties as requested by the direct manager/supervisor and company's management

Qualifications:

Excellent knowledge of freight forwarding and regulatory requirements with proven track record with a minimum of three years of industry experience - Must have High-school diploma, College Degree is a plus - Proficient in MS office applications Skills - Excellent communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with Internal and External Customers - Good judgment skills and ability to make decisions - Team player - Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a frequently changing and fast-paced environment - Conscientious and detail oriented - Proficient knowledge of web-based applications - Above average (accuracy and speed) alpha-numeric data entry Languages - Must be able to effectively communicate in English and Spanish in a fast-paced professional environment - Position may interact with global customers and foreign offices, fluency in a foreign language(s) is a plus
